What you can do without an account
You can play classic Sudoku and variants without creating an account. Core gameplay works in the browser.
Local storage on your device
We use browser storage (such as localStorage) to keep in-progress puzzles, daily calendar progress, awards, and theme preference on your device. Clearing site data removes that progress.
Analytics
If Google Analytics is enabled for this deployment, it may set cookies (for example _ga) and collect usage signals such as page views and game events. We also send anonymized or pseudonymous events to our own backend so we can improve the product. Analytics is used to understand play patterns, not to sell personal profiles.
Advertising
When ads are enabled, Google AdSense (or related Google advertising scripts) may load and set cookies or use local storage according to Google's policies. Ad partners may use these technologies to show ads and measure performance. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings and browser controls.
Tournaments and sessions
Tournament play may create a lightweight session so results can appear on a leaderboard. Display names may be generated or chosen for that purpose. Do not enter sensitive personal information into display names.
